Montreal 2014 wants to host the 15th FINA World Masters Championship
The FINA World Masters Championships brings together thousands of adults who compete
in swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming as well as open water swimming.
Montreal hosted the World Masters Championships in 1994. Therefore, it would be
a great honor to be selected to organize the 15th FINA World Masters Championships
20 years later. We would be proud to organize a world-class competition and to make
it an unforgettable experience for all participants.
Montreal is an international destination of choice. Easily accessible from all over
the world with an international airport as well as a train station served by Via
Rail and Amtrak, Montreal offers multiple points of interest as well as a multi-cultural
environment.
The aquatic facilities include the 2005 FINA World Championships pools at Parc Jean-Drapeau
as well as the Olympic Pool and Claude-Robillard center, both built for the 1976
Montreal Olympics and recently renovated.
The event is planned for July 28th-August 9th 2014.
